You are currently viewing Kling AI Prix 2026 : Tarifs Réels et Piège du Renouvellement

Kling AI's tariff schedule in 2026

Kling AI home page announcing the 3.0 series
Kling AI, whose 3.0 series is now in service. Capture of 21 July 2026.

Five formulas, one free. The amounts below are recorded on the official monthly billing page as of July 22, 2026.

Formula1st monthRenewalCreditsCost / 100 credits
Basic0 $0 $No guarantee
Standard6,99 $8,80 $660 per month1,33 $
Pro25,99 $32,56 $3,000 per month1,09 $
First64,99 $80,96 $8,000 per month1,01 $
Ultra127,99 $159,99 $26,000 per month0,62 $

Kling gives a useful equivalence, which many competitors refuse to provide: 660 credits correspond to 660 images or 33 videos in 720p. So we have a reliable order of magnitude, about 20 credits per short video against 1 credit per image.

The price trap displayed

This is the point that almost none comparison does not rise, because it is necessary to read the line in small characters below the amount.

⚠️ The rebate applies only to the first subscription. Kling writes black on white under each button. The figure highlighted, 6,99 $ For Standard, is the first month. The renewal is then set at 8.80. $either 26% more. On Pro, from 25,99 to 32,56 $.

Over a full year in Standard formula, the difference is not anecdotal: 8,80 $ for eleven months plus 6,99 $ the first, or approximately 103.79 $, when the price displayed gave hope 83.88 $. Twenty dollars apart on an entry-level, it's almost a quarter of the bill.

This is not a dishonest practice, information is present. But it is presented in a way that looks at the big number. The reflex to take is simple: on Kling's page, Always read the line « next monthly renewal » before comparing with a competitor.

Basic plan: free for life, but on the essentials

Kling announces a plan « free for life »Which is correct. But two limits strictly define its use.

  • No commercial use. The grid specifies that the content generated on Basic is not intended for commercial use. A video produced free of charge cannot therefore dress a monetized channel, an advertisement or a client project.
  • No guaranteed monthly credits. Where the payment formulas have a fixed volume, Basic indicates the absence of monthly credits: you must log in to receive an allocation, without a contractual amount.

A ceiling of 30 elements was added to S The Basic Plan therefore serves one thing, but it does it well: to judge the quality of Kling generation, which remains one of the best in the market, before deciding.

Our review complete on Kling AI details what generations actually give, especially since the 3.0 series.

What credit is worth, and the real economy of scale

Kling stands out here from most of his competitors, and to his advantage. The unit cost actually drops when you go up in range.

FormulaCreditsImagesVideos 720pCost / 100 credits
Standard660660331,33 $
Pro3 0003 0001501,09 $
First8 0008 0004001,01 $
Ultra26 00026 0001 3000,62 $

1.33 to 0.62 $ the 100 credits, the unit rate is divided by more than two between entry-level and Ultra. This is the opposite of what we have seen elsewhere: Deevid, the cost per video hardly moves from one formula to another, and in Synthesia the higher formula is even more expensive per minute.

💡 What this means: If you really produce in volume, riding in formula at Kling is profitable, which is rare. But do the calculation on the renewal prices, not on the call prices, otherwise the apparent economy evaporates.

All formulas pay share the same base: unlimited queue, accelerated generation, 1080p and 4K output, image enlargement, removal of brand watermark and video extension. It is volumes and anticipated access that vary, not basic functions.

What formula for which use

Your situationFormulaWhy?
You judge the quality of KlingBasic, 0 $Sufficient to test, but no commercial use
A few videos a month, monetizedStandard, 8.80 $33 videos, commercial use and watermark removed
Regular publicationPro, 32.56 $150 videos and priority access to news
Intensive production, agencyFirst, 80.96 $400 videos, without spectacular unit gain
Industrial volumeUltra, 159.99 $The only level where unit cost collapses

The most common case is that of the creator who hesitates between Standard and Pro. The calculation is simple: 33 videos per month are already more than one per day. If you don't reach this pace, Standard is enough, and the gap is 285 $ the year has no counterpart.

Is Kling expensive to compete with?

Compared to the renewal price, and not the call rate, Kling is in the low average of generators video, which is notable for a tool quality.

ToolActual entry rangeWhat she unlocks
Kling AI8.80 $ per monthCommercial use, watermark removed, 33 videos
Deevid AI10 $ annual, 14 $ MonthlyCommercial use, but output limited to 720p
HeyGen29 $ per monthWatermark removed, speaking avatars
Synthesia29 $ per monthDownloading videos, removing logo

The difference is explained by the positioning: Kling generates planes from a text or an image, where HeyGen and Synthesia produce speaking avatars, a market where tariffs are structurally higher. The most direct competitor on the price remains Deevid AI, but its entry-level cap in 720p when Kling opens the 1080p and 4K from the first formula.

Monthly or annual: the real difference

Kling offers two billing rates, with very different discounts: about 12% monthly against 34% annually. This is one of the most marked gaps in the sector.

The calculation is therefore very much towards the year when your use is installed. But two reservations deserve to be made. On one hand, you enter a market for 12 months where prices and models move every quarter. On the other hand, the monthly first subscription discount disappears on renewal, while the annual price for the year is fixed.

Our advice: start the month to measure your actual consumption over two or three cycles, then switch to an annual time frame once the formula has been identified. Passing directly to the year on the wrong formula costs more than the discount returns.

Our verdict on value for money

🎯 Verdict
